Each year, our esteemed judges look back on a year of epic meals, then enter into an epic debate before finally sending their secret ballots to the accountants to tabulate. (Yes: We editors take the Resto Awards more seriously than our own taxes.) And now the results are in…and we’re excited to share our 33rd annual list of pre-awards nominations with you. finals in September. .
From Thai cuisine to West Coast cuisine, below are the places our judges deemed the best in town – the holes in the wall and the white tablecloth were considered with equal care. And among all the categories and nominees, one restaurant will ultimately reign supreme as the one and only restaurant of the year.
We’ll reveal the big winners in our September issue and at a big awards night this fall, but whether they take home gold or an honorable mention, we extend our heartfelt congratulations to all of our nominees. Thank you for making this city a better place to live.
