Dubai’s Global Village will close for the summer this weekend

Fans of Dubai’s Global Village have just one day left to enjoy its 26th season, before it closes for the summer at 2am on Sunday.

The ever-popular family attraction, which was due to close for the warmer months on April 10, has added four more weeks to the season and will last open at 5pm on Saturday. It will close at 2 a.m. on Sunday, giving visitors one last night to enjoy this year’s attractions.

Global Village celebrates its 26th season with 26 pavilions representing more than 80 cultures from around the world.

Countries and continents represented include: United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Afghanistan, Africa, Americas, China, Egypt, Europe, India, Iran, Iraq, Japan, South Korea, Lebanon, Morocco, Pakistan, Palestine, Syria, Thailand, Turkey, Yemen and Russia.

New attractions this season include a Peter Rabbit Adventure Zone, home to a series of fun and interactive activity areas based on the much-loved childhood character.

Internationally renowned dance performance burn the ground also made its regional debut at the event and has a regular slot on the attraction’s main stage. The high-tension show features daring choreography by a troupe of international dancers.

How to get tickets

There is no need to pre-book tickets for Global Village, as they can be easily purchased on arrival at the venue. You can also buy them through the Global Village website or official app.

Tickets cost 15 Dh if you buy them online, or 20 Dh at the door.

Getting There

Children under 3 years old, seniors over 65 years old and People of Determination ID card holders, accompanied by an accompanying person, can enter the attraction free of charge.
