A noodle business is heading to the Grand Strand as South Carolina’s first noodle business and will open on January 19.
“We are very excited and energetic to bring this brand to South Carolina,” Phillipe Saad, Myrtle Beach Noodles & Company area franchisee, told our press partner My Horry News.
The restaurant has over 450 locations in 34 different states across the country. However, Myrtle Beach Noodles & Company will only be the second state in the Southeast in which the franchise has expanded with five locations in Florida.
Saad, who is also president of SA Restaurant Groups Inc., has nearly two decades of restaurant experience in the Myrtle Beach area, helping Jersey Mike’s franchise get started in the area in 2004.
“Adding Noodles & Company to our group and to the market is a big deal,” Saad said.
Although Noodles & Company’s specialty is noodles, Saad said the restaurant makes their main focus unique from the different brands.
“It brings in flavors from different parts of the world,” Saad said. “We have an Asian flavor, an Italian flavor, American flavors. It caters to different types of diets, from vegan to keto… It reaches every part of the market segment, market tastes and individual needs.
Although this is the first Noodles & Company that Saad will oversee, he has had experience with franchising before – as a regular customer.
“I loved visiting their store when I was traveling,” Saad said. “Every time I stopped, I tried different dishes and each time I was amazed. I like food. I love to eat and I love the taste of it. They have a wide variety of food that I love.
Noodles & Company’s menu features both familiar and globally inspired dishes from around the world that will satisfy all taste buds. Noodles & Company’s offers pasta dishes stuffed like Roasted Garlic Cream Tortellini, which are cheese-filled tortellini in a creamy garlic and onion sauce roasted with zucchini, mushrooms and spinach and are finished with MontAmoré cheese and parsley. The menu also offers classic noodle dishes such as prawn scampi, butter noodles, spaghetti and meatballs.
For those who live for macaroni and cheese, Noodles & Company has four different dishes, including a Wisconsin macaroni and cheese, which is a mix of cheddar and jack cheeses, cream and elbow macaroni.
Saad said that whatever your taste buds prefer, Noodles & Company will have it for you.
“We have a great Wisconsin mac and cheese,” Saad said. “In terms of the Asian flavor, we have the spicy Korean beef noodles, the pad thai… it’s a variety. “
If noodles aren’t your thing, Saad suggested the salads, which include Grilled Chicken Caesar, Chicken Veracruz Salad, and Chicken Med Salad.
“We have superb and tasty salads,” Saad said.

Noodles & Company officially opens on Wednesday January 19 and is located at 116 Loyola Dr. in Myrtle Beach, directly across from Wild Birds Unlimited and Murphy’s Law Sports Bar on US 17.
Noodles & Company will be open 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
